LG exec hints tat next Nexus not made by LG. The report comes from LG Mobile Europe’s vice president, Kim Won. According to the official, the Nexus 5 is not necessary for LG’s profit and success. Of course, there might always be a language barrier here, and we’re waiting for possible future clarifications.
“The Nexus 4 was a great success despite the production problems for us and Google. However we do not need such a marketing success again”, said the LG VP. Kim Won also talked about future possible LG “Google Edition” phone, a la Samsung Galaxy S 4. He said that such a device doesn’t bring or represent any value to the company. LG is relying heavily on their user experience offering, and skin. Despite everything, the relationship between LG and Google is very good.
