At CES this year, Samsung showed off working prototypes of its flexible displays. Since then, other than a concept video, there hasn’t been much news on this alleged tablet with a bendable AMOLED display. Until now.
A flexible 10.1 inch tablet render has been leaked along with a series of specifications. This bendy “Gumby-like” panel is supposed to have full HD 1920×1080, a 1.6 GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of storage, and a microSD card slot as well. A 3MP front camera and a 8000 mAh battery are also rumored to be included.

Now we must take these specs and images with a grain of salt, as nothing has been confirmed as of yet. As the report that was attached with the images pointed out, these renderings closely match a series of patents filed by Samsung related to flexible screen tablets earlier this year, however this still doesn’t mean they are real.  (On a personal note, while the flexible screen may look neat and is quite clever, I’m having an issue seeing a point to bending the screen in such a way.)
